NovoRapid FlexPen 100 IU/mL – 5 x 3 mL Type: Rapid-acting insulin analog Active Ingredient: Insulin Aspart Packaging: 5 pre-filled pens (each containing 3 mL)Indication: NovoRapid is a rapid-acting insulin used for the treatment of diabetes mellitus in adults, adolescents, and children aged 1 year and above. It helps to control blood glucose levels, especially around meal times.Mechanism of Action: Insulin aspart works by replacing the insulin that the body normally produces. It starts to act within 10–20 minutes, peaks in 1–3 hours, and lasts for up to 5 hours.Dosage & Administration: Administer subcutaneously in the abdomen, thigh, upper arm, or buttocks. Typically taken immediately before meals or within 20 minutes after starting a meal. Rotate injection sites to reduce the risk of lipodystrophy. Storage: Store unopened pens in a refrigerator (2°C–8°C). After first use, store at room temperature (below 30°C) for up to 4 weeks. Do not freeze. Precautions: Monitor blood glucose levels regularly. Consult your doctor if pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking other medications. Risk of hypoglycemia—use with caution.
