ROZTOR 10 mg Tablets (28 tablets)Active Ingredient:Atorvastatin Calcium 10 mgTherapeutic Class:Lipid-Lowering Agent – HMG-CoA Reductase Inhibitor (Statin)Indications:ROZTOR is indicated for:Reducing elevated total cholesterol, LDL-C, ApoB, and triglyceridesIncreasing HDL-C in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia, mixed dyslipidemia, or familial hypercholesterolemiaCardiovascular risk reduction in patients with risk factors such as diabetes, hypertension, and a family history of heart diseaseAtorvastatin works by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme involved in cholesterol synthesis in the liver.Dosage and Administration:The recommended starting dose is 10 mg once daily. The dose may be adjusted at intervals of at least 4 weeks, up to a maximum of 80 mg/day.
