Hartmann Grassolind P10 10x10cm: Grassolind’s neutral are non-medicated paraffin gauze dressings for wound treatment. Grassolind’s cotton gauze fabric impregnated with an anhydrous ointment consisting of: White vaseline Diglycerol ester of mono-and dicarboxylic fatty acids Microcrystalline hydrocarbon wax. The tulle’s open weave allows exudate to pass into a layer of absorbent dressing on top of it. It’s helping to avoid maceration. The ointment keeps the edges of the wound supple. It promotes the formation of granulation tissue and epithelium and prevents the dressing from adhering to the wound. Dressings can be changed painlessly without irritating granulation tissue or new epithelium. Indications Grassolind attended for general wound treatment, especially exudating surface wounds. (e.g. abrasions, lacerations, gashes, burns, scalds, acid burns, covering donor and recipient sites in skin grafting, plastic and cosmetic surgery, nail removal, circumcisions, etc.). The neutral properties of the non-medicated ointment base make Grassolind particularly useful in dermatology and for patients with sensitive skin, or those sensitive to certain medicinal substances.
