L-5-HTP is thought to enhance synthesis of serotonin in the brain. Vitamin B-6 is the co-factor for enzymes that convert L-tryptophan to serotonin. Vitamin C catalyzes the hydroxylation of tryptophan to serotonin.
Usage:
As a dietary supplement take 1-4 capsules daily preferably in divided doses with a meal or a glass of water.
